Many 5th Port alumni have represented their country in many fields but none more-so than Jim Morrissey in the kayak racing. Jim has competed internationally in many kayaking styles and won many prestigious races. Here he can be seen in a K1 White-Water Racer on the river Inny winning the 17th selection race for the Irish Team. Jim will be a part of the Irish team at the Wild Water Racing World Cup in 2005, two races of which will take place on the Shannon. We wish Jim and the rest of the team the best of luck.
