My method of practice or therapy used is based upon three models offering the practical, the experimental and is progressive and forward looking. This combination helps change behavior, enhances awareness and includes exploring meaning or the spiritual side of life. |

The first technique is known as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). This is a behavouiral method to help change observable harmful or useless behavior The second technique is Monodrama and/or group Psychodrama. This offers some experiential learning and is a very effective way to explore what is going on and help bring about some useful changes. The third technique is a combination of the psychology of C J Jung and some of his techniques. (I have read almost all of Jungs' works over the the past nineteen years and have benefitted from receiving analytical psychotherapy on a regular basis for a ten year period. I find it offers insight into some of the more obscure or unknown parts of ourselves as well as offering insight into the meaning of life or (to put it another way) the more spiritual side of our nature. It is essentially a forward looking (progressive) psychology. I specialise in the treatment of self-mutilation |
