Items to consider when purchasing a Fuselage:
Helicopter fuselages add realism to models, make the model
easier to see in flight and include a unique level of skill that can
develope into a virtual wonder seen up close.
Anyone that has been fascinated with helicopters at any age will have
their favourite scale fuselage, maybe a civilian Jet Ranger or military
Apache attack helicopter.
As our site develops we will be including more detailed information
and articles or links to different magazines which have written articles
about fuselages over the years. If a fuselage purchase is in your
near future, please contact us directly for the specifics on the fuselage
you are interested in.
Attention: If you are new to the r/c helicopter hobby or are
ready to make a purchase for a helicopter, the photos of scale
heliopters ( airwolf, apache, jet ranger... ) show the actual body and a
helicopter inside with main rotor blades and tail rotor blades, landing
gear and wheels if applicable. Do not be confused. The Fuselage pages
show what the scale body can look like when completely finished.
Fuselages are normally supplied as bare unfinished fiberglassc clear
parts, retract mechanisms, rudder pushrod, hardwood engine rails, wood
parts and blueprint. Pictures on the right are examples of what a
completed fuselage can look like. Hold the mouse over a picture to find
out what it is.
Items needed to complete the helicopter to fly it:
- Helicopter Kit - compatible with the fuselage
- Helicopter Engine
- Gyro
- Muffler
- Starting Accessories - for any engine.
Depending on the equipment purchased, this can range from 700-900 on top of the original fuselage price.
