The Cyclone is a dedicated digitising & measuring machine. It has a standard working envelope of 600 x 500 x 400mm (X,Y,Z) and is particularly suited to fine detail work. The Cyclone can use either a contact analogue probe or a laser non-contact probe. It can be used in an office or workshop environment. It has many different applications & currently there are over 2,000 machines installed worldwide employed on such diverse industries as footwear, jewellery, turbine blades, moulds & dies, automotives, coins & medals.

Key Benefits

  • Very low probing force <50g / mm, which means that you can use very small 0.3mm styli.

  • Can use contact or non-contact probes which means you can digitise virtually any type of material.

  • Comes complete with Tracecut software, which means that you can create your own CNC programme or CAD  output.

  • Dedicated machine, which means that you are not "tying-up" your machine tool when it could be cutting  metal.

  • Only requires normal air line & single phase power, which means you can use it in an office or workshop  environment.

  • Latest Tracecut software allows the use of "star" Styli.

  • Can have 4th axis option, which means you can accurately digitise all round a complete part.
