Welcome to the Galway European Social Forum.

The story so far.  On 1st Nov in Mainguard St., the Galway Anti-Capitalist Movement had an information stall carnival to raise awareness of the upcoming European Social Forum.  The groups participating included

• Galway Anti Capitalist Movement,

• Oxfam,

• Defend Free Speech, Assembly and Activity,

• Galway Alliance against war,

• Debt and Development Coalition,

• Amnesty International.

There were also stalls on privatisation, public transport and incineration.

On 12th Nov, Activists from Galway travelled to Paris. The event was split into 4 venues St. Denis, La Villette, Bobigny and Ivry Sur Seine.  Click on the links for each.

Downloading will take a while, so it's better to do at night.  St. Denis is the biggest. 

Notes from the various events attended will be transcribed after the feedback session.

The feedback session for the event is planned for Thursday 20th Nov in Java's Coffee House at 8PM.

This site will be updated with all the information from the meeting.  Space will be provided for each of the participants to give some feedback.

This will save the whole page including the pictures.  The pictures will be in a sub directory of the same name.
