The Climbing Frame

Derelict building,
Long forgotten,
But the evidence of man,
Is all too evident.

Look at the walls,
Ivy growing and crushing,
Reclaiming mother natures land,
Making beautiful the spoils of man.

Roots of nearby trees,
Reach out and crumble aged foundations,
Walls tumble and fall,
Returning stone to its rightful place.

Man destroys and creates,
Nature demolishes and salvages,
Beauty from cold, unfeeling stone,
Making an appropriate climbing frame.
