Ulster Championships U12s Age group, U16-U19 1500M and Relays Finn Valley, Donegal,


Annalee AC athletes put in some great performances in the Ulster championships on 26th Feb 2006 in Finn Valley. Fionan O'Reilly is the Ulster champion, winning the U19 1500M where he led from start to finish.

The day started off well with a superb run by the U12 girls team of Laura Young, Yvette Schutten, Lauren Sexton and Aoife Murphy to come second in the 4X100m relay. They were followed by relay bronze medal performances in the Boys u12 (Kian Monaghan, Francis Lunney, Andrew Creamer and Conor Bates), the Girls U13 (Maria McIntyre, Kate McDonald, Bronagh McBreen and Eadaoin O'Reilly), and the Boys U13 4 X200M races (Conall McGinley, Darren Watters, Padraig Moore and John Brady).

Kian Monaghan was second in the u12 shot putt. Yvette Schutten was third in the U12 Girls 60m. Other notable performances were Aoife Murphy (5th in u12 60m), Aodhagan O'Reilly (5th in the u17 1500m)and the boys u14 relay team of Matthew Wilson, Francis Moore, Damien McKiernan and Padraig Dolan who came 4th in the 4X200M.

Ciaran Fitzpatrick, Aisling Bates, Cliodhna Delaney (4th in 600m heat) all had good events on the day.

Boys U13 4X 100M 3rd place with some of the Boys u14 team who were 4th in their relay.
