Fanore
Fanore sits on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean about 8 miles west of Ballyvaughan and 4 miles south of Black Head, the most northerly point of County Clare. It is famous for its golden sandy beach and weathered limestone plateaus sloping down to the Atlantic coastline.

Siopa Fán-Óir (Fanore Supermarket) and Post Office is open from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm daily. Supplies of fishing tackle are also available for the interested angler.
