Carroll sets a new national record for 10,000m!
Hi! Welcome to the site

European 3000m champion Mark Carroll continues to amaze by running 27.46.82 in Stanford and nonchalantly breaking John Treacy's long standing 10,000m record at his first serious race in the event. Add to that an early 5000m qualifying run in Boston in 13.21 and he is warming up nicely.
He was also the subject of an very good article in the Irish times by Tom Humphries recently, click here to read it.

Elsewhere Olympic qualifying runs are coming thick and fast, Sonia is back in form and a host of Irish talent is gearing up for an Olympic Summer.
