Horse & Jockey

This memorial is the second of two monuments which are within a mile of each other on the roadside between Cashel and Horse & Jockey. (See also "Ballytrasna")

There is a wide sweeping turn 5 miles after leaving Cashel which begins with a left-hand bend at a very wide part of the road. This monument is about a quarter way around this turn, well to the back of the very wide grass margin.

From Dublin, after the long straight stretch which goes through Horse & Jockey, the road takes a long sweeping bend to the right. Look for the monument beyond the apex of the bend on the right hand side, just after passing a commercial building on the left.
