Galway Caps

The following players played for Galway during the year

-          Ciaran Callanan played with the Galway Seniors during the league and Under 21 team beaten in the All Ireland Semi Final by Limerick.

-          Joe O Leary on making the Minor team which lost out to Cork in the All Ireland final.

-          David and Shane Kennedy, Maurice Callanan and Pat Holland represented the club with the County Under 16 team which were unfortunate in loosing out to Kilkenny at the semi final stage, they went on to win the shield final defeating Cork. Well done Michael Brennan selector with the team.

-          John Greene and Shane Howley who played full back and full forward respectively on the Under 14 team which took part in the Tony Forrestal tournament in Waterford.

-          Tom Greene and Syl Dolan who played on the Masters team beaten by Limerick in the All Ireland semi final.

-          Vincent Mullins and Pat Murphy were involved with the County Intermediates
