The Intermediates came back from the dead on Friday night in Aughrim and forced a replay of their first round Championship game. Trailing by 1.05 to 0.02 at half time the writing was on the wall.

Aughrim scored a point immediately after the restart but thankfully that proved to be their last score.

A brilliant goal by Stephen Hurley and a series of well worked points brought us back from the brink

And has given us a second bite at the cherry.

The replay is this Thursday night in Aughrim at 7.30pm.

Once again we are indebted to our Chairman Donal Duffy for organising another successful Golf Classic in Woodenbridge Golf Club. The club would like to wish him every good wish on his recent retirement.

The under 16 team had a marvellous 3 point victory over a tournament favourites St. Brigids

in the county championship. They face Newtown in the Quarter Final next Monday night. They

also remain unbeaten in their League campaign.

The under 12 team, recently crowned South East champions, and also unbeaten in the league

Travel to Ballinacor next Wednesday 16th July. A win would ensure a place in the play offs for

the title.
