Pregnancy

This information is intended as a guide only

Where there is a history of miscarriage Essential Oils should Not be used during pregnancy.
If at any time you are worried about any aspect of your pregnancy you should consult your G.P.

Do Not use Essential oils neat.  They must be blended in a carrier oil before use.  Most oils are suitable such as Sweet Almond Oil, Calendula Oil, Coconut Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vegetable Oil, Olive Oil. (For a Base Oil without the dreaded stain please contact me)

Do Not ingest or take essential Oils internally.

Keep Essential Oils out of the reach of children

Just before you get into the bath add your blend to the bathwater.
Make sure the bathwater is not too hot!

Stretch-marks

These are best treated before they happen!

As soon as you know you are expecting you should massage your tummy and hips with oil or cream daily to increase elastically of the skin. Massaging with almond oil, olive oil or a rich cream is helpful.  For a more luxurious treatment you can use essential oils Mandarin or Neroli (5 drops of Mandarin plus 10 drops Neroli) in 25mls of Rosehip seed oil.  Rosehip oil is very beneficial to the skin.  You could also add up to 50 drops of Hazelnut oil - rich in Vitamin E.
