MY INSPIRATIONS
I studied fine art at Coventry Lanchester
Polytechnic, where I became interested
in an art that was largely not considered
art by many people. So called primitive
art, the rich colours of Mexico, the proportions
of African art and the freedom in children's
art. The work of Jean Dubuffet, and the
Cobra group of artists, also inspired
me greatly as do the more famous artists,
such as Paul Klee, Henri Rousseau and
Picasso .
