Two Presidents of the United States of America visited Dromoland Castle in 2004 and on each occasion were presented with copies of the book 'The Origin and History of the O'Brien Clan'.

Here we see the former President Clinton, accompanied by his wife Hilary, being presented with a copy of the book by Sir Conor O'Brien, during their visit to Dromoland Castle in July 2004.

An autographed copy of President Clinton's autobiography was given in return.

First Lady of the United States, Mrs. Laura Bush receives a copy of the book on behalf of her husband, President Bush, during the historic EU Summit Meeting of June 2004 that took place in Dromoland Castle.
 

A copy of 'The Origin and History of The O'Brien Clan' now resides in the White House library.
