Teaspach Na nOg was recorded in Glengort National School in 1996. All the musicians on the album were part of Tim Collins's music class. Gary Shannon recorded the album with the use of Matt Purcell's equipment. Both Tim Collins & Helen Broderick were the musical directors of the project.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dan Curtin, fiddle player from Ballycommane is a member of "Monks of the Screw", a band from Newmarket, Co. Cork. This album which is a fine example of Sliabh Luachra music was recorded in Paudie Scully's pub Newmarket, a bar which is famous for it's "traditional" setting and infamous Monday night sessions!

 

 

 

 

 

Joanne O'Connor Mehan from Killacullen features on this album by Planxty O'Rourke. Joanne is a fiddle & Banjo player and currently resides in Meath where she is involved with traditional music along with her husband Fran.

 

 

An Draighean Donn was recorded by Eileen Curtin of Ballycommane and also features her sister Brenda. Eileen is a champion singer and Brenda is a fiddle player who is currently touring with Michael Flately's "Lord of the Dance".
