Times are changing - in fact they are changing in ways we would have never anticipated. Tourism as we know it, has been a good servant to Assolas for the best part of two generations. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our many friends and guests for their support and loyalty through the years.

Trends in tourism over the last 6 years have caused us to look outside our immediate business to prepare for the future. We are encouraged and exited to move into new areas that will require more community yet meet the needs of our growing family in a more balanced way.

So, you will appreciate that only after lengthy consideration and indeed specialist advice that we have decided to close Assolas as a Guest House, indeed for all business from the 26th September 2005. It will revert to being our family home.
