Friendships are created through our regular meetings and also the many events Athlone GLB hopes to organise in the future.
Some of our biggest events this
year will be excursions to both the Dublin and Belfast
Pride this year and the 1st Gay Ball in the
Midlands.
As the community grows we hope
to organise social nights in Athlone, these will include
bowling, quasar or
just a good laugh in the Pub.
We are currently working with other Gay and Lesbian
Societies in the
Midlands and West area to try
and hold Athone’s first “Gay Disco” and to
broaden the community.
