Ballinteer
Community School; affectionately known as B.C.S. opened
in 1974. Situated in South County Dublin it caters for
660 students. With a staff of 45 teachers it offers a
wide range of subjects. The students range in age from 12
to 18 years. As well as ample playing pitches, the school
campus comprises of two single story school buildings and
a gymnasium. As all the structures are laid out on one
level the school can cater for students
who have physical disabilities. The school also has an
education unit for students with Specialist Speech
Disorder (SSLD). Here are two views of the school.
