Drama Drama and music are an important aspect of student life in B.C.S. Students are encouraged to develop their skills through the annual school production. There have been 14 school shows to date, as varied in range from "The Pirates of Penzance" to "Philadelphia, Here I Come!". Students take responsibility for the overall production, designing and painting marvellous sets, building props, designing lighting and sound systems and operating these systems - a complex task! The ticket sales and raffle are all taken care of from the general student body - thus ensuring a whole school experience. Upwards of 100 pupils participate annually from all years. Students are also encouraged to enter competitions in Dance, Drama and Music and have had many successes in the past. Many of our past pupils have gone on to study Theatre and are actively involved in Drama as a way of life ; as actors, producers, directors and writers. There is an active Theatre Club with outings each term to performances in the city's various theatres - a most enjoyable experience for all involved.
