The parish of Ballina and Boher is located between Nenagh in County Tipperary and Limerick city, just off the N7 - Dublin to Limerick road.  The village of Ballina, a heritage village,  is bordered by the Shannon river on one side and the Arra mountains on the other and forms part of the Shannon Region. The area is served by  Shannon International Airport  which is only a 35 minute drive away.
