CAIT and CLAR

The Ballinacree Community Association with the North Meath Community Development Association has just launched two projects which will bring benefit to the parish of Ballinacree.  

CAIT is Community Access to Information Technology.  This involves a beginner's computer course which will run over six months, after which the Computers and software will be permanently installed in the community centre.

Committee Members

CLAR is a physical infrastructure grant, which will be used to install a foothpaths, public lighting, and signage for Ballinacree.  These were the needs as identified by a cross section of clubs and individuals at a meeting in Ballinacree earlier this year.  The draft plan of the scheme is on display in the Centre.  

Johnnie Brady, TD, officially launched the two projects at the community centre on Wednesday, 30 October.
