This year is the 50th anniversary of the formation of St Brigid's GFC. As part of the celebrations to mark this event the club with the assistance of the Community Association, The Historical Society and the other organisations in the area have decided to bring out a book on the history of the area. This will include a history of football in the area as well as well as histories of all local organisations and events.
