Whats it
all about ?

When
somebody joins Cubs / Macaoimh in order to become a full member they
need to be invested and complete the five
steps in the
Investiture Badge. Then each year you do a
different Arrow
badge starting with Bronze and working up to Gold. You can start
profiency or merit badges at any time. |

Investiture
|
All new members are
required to complete the Investiture badge. Its actually very easy
and there are only 5 steps in it. |
|
Merit
Badges
|
Merit Badges are
normally done individually, although we do some together on hikes. They
are noamlly examined on Wednesday nights from 7.30 to 8.30 in the Macaoimh
Dún from January to May. |

Bronze
Arrow
|

After being Invested, Macaoimh can progress
onto the Bronze Arrow badge and start doing merit badges for the list
opposite. |

Silver
Arrow
|
è
To progress the Silver Arrow you should
have completed the Bronze Arrow and be at least 9 years old.

Gold
Arrow
|

The Gold Arrow Badge is the final macaoimh
badge and you should have completed the Silver Arrow and be 10 year
old. |

|
The Link badge is for Macaoimh that are
going to Scouts. The badge can be worn on the Macaoimh and Scout
Uniform |
