Own or have regular use of a bicycle of a suitable size |
| 2 | Be able to get on and off a bike correctly |
| 3 | Be able to clean and oil a bicycle and pump up the tyres |
| 4 | Know why your bike should always be in good condition and help to keep it so. |
| 5 | Understand why it is necessary to lock a bicycle when leaving it unattended. |
| 6 | Show how to mend a puncture |
| 7 | Under observation go for a short ride on a specific course, Know the signals for the rules for cyclists in the "Rules of the Road" and in short demonstrate their use. |
