| 5 | Show how to make a patient comfortable |
| 6 | Know how burns and scalds are usually caused in the home and what should be doen to avoid them - how to put out burning clotha nd the simple treatment of burns and scalds |
| 7 | Know about mouth to mouth reusctation and practice it by use of a special dummy or simulator. * For this part Macaoimh are only required to know about mouth to mouth reusicitation and CPR. Under no circumstance are Macaoimh to practice it, only under supervised conditions and they are NEVER to attempt it in a real life situation unless they have undertaken course with the Red Cross, St John s Ambulance, Order of Malta or the Civil Defence. |
