This years melvin Trophy Competition was held in Castleconnel in Co. Limerick.  Despite the fairly wet and mucky conditions, everyone enjoyed the event !  As well as the campcraft, public speaking, campfires and the usual activities, this year the bases were partly held in Killaloe Water Activities Centre. 

Our patrol again did very well and finished in 7th place overall.  In fact scout troops from Cork took 5 places in the top 10.  the overall winners were the 17th/20th Waterford.
