Our New Under 10 Side

Following massive interest in recent times we finally found ourselves with the resources
available to fund a schoolboy team in the area. After some excellent research and visits to
numerous classrooms in the De La Salle CBS in Ballyfermot, Ray McBride organised a
couple of trials for the school children to analyse the interest in the sport

And what a response it was with an over thirty children turning out for both sessions. We
would like to thank all of the children who showed up and also all of the parents etc. who
took the time out to assure that the children arrived and departed safely, and we hope they
were impressed by the organisation of both days.

Given the wealth of talent on show most would agree that successfull times are most definitely ahead for the side and everyone at the club hopes that they become a big name at grass roots level and go on to enjoy similar success to the many other proud teams that have gone before them. Watch out Dublin, Ballyfermot DLS is back on the map!!!!
