The Club had four members playing in the U12/U13 team event last Saturday night in Cappagh, Co. Limerick. Our players were Shane Dowling, Brendan Crowe, Aaron O Halloran and Cian Counihan. The team were defeated by a very strong Tipperary team but our boys played some great handball and all the mentors who travelled were delighted with their performance.
Clive Counihan played in the All Ireland quarter final of The Annual Hardball Championships in Ballina on Sunday. Padraig Gaffney from Mayo defeated him 21/10, 21/12
The Club juveniles are preparing and training hard for Féile na nGael which will take place in various venues in Cork and Limerick on the 22nd and 23rd of June. This competition was to take place in Ulster but was changed to the foot and mouth situation there. The Club will have boys and girls teams in this years competition.

Summer Camp.
A handball Summer Camp will be run at the Handball Courts through the County GAA Summer Camps. This will run from the July 23rd to 27th inclusive. It will be for Boys and girls from age 7 upwards. Goggles and balls will be available at the courts. It will run each day from 11.00am to 3.00pm. Anyone who wishes to join the Summer Camp can fill an application form available at the schools, the handball club or Garveys shops.
