Féile
Na nGael for Handball is taking place at Cork /Limerick venues
next weekend. Cork Handball board are hosting the event as it
was scheduled for the North but due to Foot and Mouth was not
held in the Province.
Feile is an Annual event that caters for teams from Clubs. Teams
from all over the Country take part in this Handball weekend for
children Under 14.
Kerry have four teams taking part this weekend.
One girls team play in Division 2 of 40 x 20 from Tralee and
the team is : Gemma O Connell, Karen Lawlor, Deidre McMahon and
Grace Healy.
A boys team from Ballymacelligott play in Division 2 of 40
x 20 and the players are: David Keane, Paul Culloty, John
Crowe and Aaron O Halloran
A boys team play in Division 1 of 60 x 30 from Ballymacelligott
: Brendan Crowe, Denis Buckley, Cian Counihan, Shane Dowling
and Liam Thompson.
A girls team from Ballymacelligott play in Division 1 of 40
x 20 : Sharon Twomey, Lisa Falvey, Catriona Casey, Grainne
Kerins and Brenda Carmody.
Summer Camps.
Handball Summer Camp will take place in the following venues this
Summer.The Summer Camps are being run in conjunction with Coiste
Chontae Chiarrai . At present there are five venues as follows.
If any children are interested beginners or seasoned players please
apply, as Camps will be able to cater for both.

12.30am to 4.30pm
July 2nd to July 6th Handball Court Glenbeigh 11.00am to 3.30pm
July 9th to July 13th Sportscomplex, Tralee. 11.00am to 3.30pm
July 16th to July 2oth Abbeydorney Handball Court 11.00am to 3.30pm
July 23rd to July 27th Ballymacelligott Handball Courts. 11.00am
to 3.30pm
Players who
play regularly will have the chance to improve their skills.
Goggles and balls will be available at the courts. Anyone who
wishes to join the Summer Camp can fill an application form available
at the schools, the handball clubs or Garveys shops.
County B Finals 40 x 20.
The
County B Finals for boys and girls will take place in Tralee on
Thursday the 28th June commencing at 4.00pm. All children from
U10 to U15 who did not win a County Title or runner up are eligible
to take part. Please come along if you are eligible!
