Munster Semi-Finals and Finals

Padraig McCarthy of Castleisland Community School won the Under 16 singles title at the Munster Vocational Schools finals held at Mallow Co Cork today.Padraig beat Sean O'Connor of Boherbue Vocational School in a score of 17- 4 in the final, having previously beaten Jonathon Mooney of Drumcollogher Community School in a score of 21- 10. Padraig is a member of Ballymacelligott Handball Club.
Patrick Rahilly and Sean Falvey of Killorglin Vocational School were narrowly beaten in the final of the under 18 Doubles by Anthony Hayes and Jimmy Shields of Rathkeale Vocational School in a score of 16-10. Both players are members of Glenbeigh Handball Club.
Stephen O Sullivan of Killorglin Vocational School was beaten in the under 14 singles by D J O Connor of Boherbue Vocational School who proved to be much stronger on the day. Stephen is a member of Glenbeigh Handball Club.
Sean Falvey was also narrowly beaten in the final of the under 18 singles by Adrian Kelly of Ennis Vocational School in a score of 15-8.
