Juvenile 40 x 20 County Finals
The Juvenile County Championships for boys and girls were held in Sports Complex, Tralee on Sunday 30th January. In total sixty-nine children took part from Glenbeigh Ballymacelligott, Tralee and Castleisland. Some great games were played especially the U14 final between Padraig McCarthy and Gene Griffin. This was a close contest that went to three games with Padraig McCarthy winning through in the end 11/9, 2/11, 11/9.All Ireland winner Dominic Lynch of Glenbeigh presented all the winners and runners-up with their medals. Dominic was present for all the games and said the standard of Handball was very good. Mr. Gerry Savage , President of the Handball Board thanked all the children for taking part and he thanked all the parents who supported them.
