PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

The Motto of Barefield National School is:-

"MOL AN OIGE IS TIOCFAIDH SI"

This ethos is clearly evident to any visitor to the school, who immediately detects an environment in which pupils happily progress academically, religiously, culturally, physically, musically and technologically.

Beidh failte is fiche roimh einne a thagann ar cuairt chuig an scoil.

Mr. John Burns - School Principal

Barefield National School has a distinguished history in the field of education for more than one hundred years. We hope our school will be a happy, formative and full experience for all our young pupils, as it is our policy to cater, as far as possible, for their individual needs. As the best results in the education of pupils are achieved when the home and the school are working in harmony, the teachers welcome parents' visits, questions and constructive comments / suggestions at all times.

In 1993, our new school was constructed, incorporating "state of the art" modern educational and recreational facilities. The provision of such a comfortable learning environment for our pupils can, but only enhance their general education and the development of their individual skills / talents.
The teachers join with me in assuring you that we will do all in our power to make school a happy place for your child and we will work to the best of our abilities to achieve that end.

Is mise,
Le fior-mheas,

Sean G. O Broin
Priomh-Oide
