Sebastian Millett - Cello.

'Finely played… with great depth of feeling and range of expression"
  Musical Opinion, London.

The above press notice is typical of the fine reputation Sebastian Millett enjoys in his life as a concert cellist. His talent was recognised at the Royal College of Music where he won one of the most prestigious competitions, the Anthony Saltmarsh Prize. Consequently he gained a scholarship enabling him to continue his studies with the internationally renowned cellist, Eileen Croxford.

His busy schedule includes solo broadcasts, recitals and concertos across the UK and Europe. Successes include a performance of 'Don Quixote' by Strauss with the Salomon Orchestra at St. John's Smith Square where he has also premiered chamber music by Sarah Rodgers and received critical acclaim for a performance of chamber works with Mitislav Rostropovich in the presence of her majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and also a recital for the British Embassy, Berlin. In addition to his solo career Sebastian is a frequent guest artist with chamber groups such as the Bingham String Quartet and, when time permits, enjoys playing and touring with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

Christopher Taylor - Piano.

Christopher Taylor won an exhibition to study Piano Accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music. Whilst there he was awarded the Katie Thomas Memorial Prize and the Michael Head Twentieth Century piano accompaniment prize. He is in high demand for recitals throughout the United Kingdom and recent venues include Newton Abbot Concert Society, Yatton Music Society, the Purcell Room, St. Martin in the Fields and the Schubert Society of Great Britain. Abroad he has performed as far a field as Oslo and Seattle.

As well as giving many solo concerts, lieder and instrumental recitals, Christopher has a very wide range of musical interests including seventeenth century continuo playing and contemporary jazz. He has also distinguished himself in the field of composition. Two of his recent works were premiered at the Hackney Empire. More recently still, a commission by the London Philharmonic Orchestra was performed by them in the Royal Festival Hall. Also at this time Christopher showed his versatility by co-writing the music for the 2004 American Democratic Election video, directed by Steven Spielberg. Future projects include an opera commission by Gyenyame Ltd. to be premiered in early 2008.
