CLUBIE TAKES A SABBATICAL!

Due to the current world wide recession I find myself one of the 12,000 downsized from Ericsson and rather than give up contracting and go permanent (#shudder#) I find myself having to go abroad to find a job. Therefore clubIE will be put on hold for a while until I come back, whenever that will be as I plan to tackle London then Amsterdam in the year. The sites and its 3000+ links will remain up but the listings will be removed as the web has enough dead pages as it is.

The site started in Nov 99 as an email to friends teling them what was coming up and grew to 10000 hits a month in Mar 01. It was a lot of work but the few guestlists I got on were worth it, if only to have bouncers act nice to me. Though Ive managed to give myself tinnitus in between so if you do have a ringing in your ears the next day, take a break and wear your damn earplugs!!
