• Meditaion Dzogchen Beara retreat centre –Run by RIGPA  a worldwide tibetan buddist organisation.  Dzogchen beara offers retreats under the guidence of Sogyal Ripoche.  Author of the best selling book “The Tbetan Book of Living and Dying” People come from all over the world to attend the center.  There are often classes available and daily meditations are open to anyone. • Geneology:  Many people come to the area to trace friend and relatives and track down ancestors.  The very helpful Genelogist. Riobard O’Dwyer near Eyries is often able to help and has also published a book “Who were my Ancestors” comprehensively listing the family trees in the local parishes.  His research is considered one of the most detailed in the whole of Ireland.
