Contacting the School

Informal Contact

• Parents often liaise with teachers before and after class-times when dropping pupils to school and collecting them when the school day is over.
• Parents are asked not to call unannounced for a meeting during class-time as this can be disruptive to the school day.
• Parents are asked not to telephone requesting to speak to teachers during class-time.

Formal Contact

• Parent/Teacher meetings are arranged during the first term to afford parents and teacher an opportunity to discuss pupil's progress. Parents are informed of the date and time, and every effort is made to co-ordinate meetings for parents with more than one child in the school.
• Parents may at any time arrange a meeting with teachers or the Principal at a time suitable to both parties.
• Under no circumstances should teachers be contacted at his/her home address or telephone.
