Text Box: Home School Community Liaison Co-Ordinator
Having successfully implemented a Maths For Fun Numeracy initiative with various classes last year, Scoil an Chroí Ró-Noafa intends to further develop this programme. First and Second Classes have started a 5 week programme which commenced this week on 25th October.

A parent information meeting and training session took place last week with parents/guardians of 1st and 2nd classes, where parents became familiar with the games. Parental support was most welcome and helpful. I as H.S.C.L. co-ordinator hope to organise Maths For Fun Games for other classes in the New Year.

The Haven F.R.C. funded the mathematical games, this is greatly appreciated.

In keeping with the inclusivity philosophy of Scoil an Chroí Ró-Naofa and as part of the H.S.C.L. programme, the School Information Booklet for parents and Language Development Suggestions for Parents have been provided in an multilingual format for foreign national parents.

Under the D.E.I.S. Initiative and as part of the H.S.C.L. scheme, the school now provides lunches to all pupils since Oct 2nd ‘06. Scoil an Chroí Ró-Naofa wish to thank everyone for their co-operation in making the lunch scheme a complete success.
