CLUBHOUSE

The unique stone built clubhouse is located within the grounds of Churchtown House and overlooks the practice putting green. This deceptively spacious complex incorporates all the facilities you would expect from a modern golf development whilst embracing a traditional and warm atmosphere.


HISTORY

Beaufort Golf Course is part of Churchtown Estate, the center piece of which is the Georgian house built in 1740. The ruins of Castle Core stand beside the 13th green and it was from here that the stone was taken to build the house. The entrance to the course is lined with two hundred year old trees and the pineapples which crown the gate pillars are a traditional symbol of hospitality.
