Our commitment to the health and happiness of all of the dogs under our care at Athboy Boarding Kennels is of paramount importance.


For the health and wellbeing of all our boarders, we only accommodate fully vaccinated dogs including kennel cough vaccination. As the kennel cough vaccination is a live nasal vaccination, this must be given to your dog  at least five days   before it is due to arrive at the kennels. We require proof of vaccination before any dog can be admitted to the kennels and this can be obtained from your Vet at the time the vaccinations are administered.


There is no need to worry about putting your dogs in kennels if they are on medication. We are happy to discuss your requirements and administer any medication supplied. All details of your requirements can be included on the booking form when you arrive at the kennels.


We have every confidence in our Vets who are on call 24 hours a day.

Finally, we would also recommend that all dogs are regularly wormed and treated for fleas. We suggest you discuss this with your vet at vaccination time.
