a little bit about me...

Originally from France I have been in Ireland for 13 years. Dublin is where my life and heart are firmly settled.

I took up yoga 12 years ago and never looked back. Yoga changed my life in many ways: it gives me joy, health, peace, energy, and much more. Through yoga I have learnt ways to live a more fulfilling life.

I eventually trained as a teacher with the Yoga Therapy & Training Centre and I continue to attend classes and retreats in Ireland and abroad to enhance my own practice and my teaching. I have studied with many great Yoga teachers in Ireland, and have also learnt much from the Buddhist traditions of Awareness Meditation and Loving Kindness. I regularly attend courses with International Senior Teachers such as Godfrey Devereux, Danielle Arin, Venkatesh of Mysore, Donna Fahri, Emma Balnaves, Kevin Gardiner, Paddy McGrath etc. I am particularly grateful to Godfrey Devereux for his teachings.

I am also qualified to teach Pre-Natal Yoga, Mum & Baby Yoga and Active Birthing, and I am a member of Trust in Birth, the only Irish Peri-natal Yoga network & training body.

Over the past few years I also studied Holistic Therapies at Walmer College and obtained ITEC Diplomas in Holistic Massage and Nutrition Therapy. I trained in Reiki with Mary Tuohy including Level II (Practitioner). You can find out about receiving one-to-one treatments from me on the 'holistic therapies' page of this site.

Another important part of my life is charity & development work: I have been involved with Oxfam Ireland for many years now. You can find me working in the Oxfam Books & Music Shop in Dublin city centre 2 days a week and I occasionnally run fundraising events as well, for instance I offered Massage & Reiki treatments at the Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures to raise funds for Oxfam.
