MON 1 SEP - The 2 Ortolan Buntings at CCBO were still present today along with 5 Pied Flycatchers and a Garden Warbler, a Long-billed Dowitcher was found at Rusheen Bay, Galway and a male Marsh Harrier was seen at Ballyconnell, Co. Sligo.

TUE 2 SEP - White-rumped Sandpiper, 10 Curlew Sandpipers, a Little Stint and a Yellow Wagtail were at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford with 8 Curlew Sandpipers, a Little Stint, 20 Ruff and 4 Yellow Wagtails at nearby Lady's Island Lake, a Wryneck was found on Mizen Head and a Melodious Warbler was seen on Dursey Island, Co. Cork, juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper at the Shannon Airport Lagoons, Co. Clare and a juvenile blue-phase Snow Goose was noted at Cockleshell Bay near Blennerville, Co. Kerry.

WED 3 SEP - A first-winter Citrine Wagtail, the 6th Irish record, was found today at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford where the White-rumped Sandpiper and at least 3 Pectoral Sandpipers were also present, at nearby Lady's Island Lake 2 Black-necked Grebes, 3 Yellow Wagtails, 6 Curlew Sandpipers and 13 Ruff were all seen, the Hippolais warbler on Dursey Island, Co. Cork has been re-identified as an Icterine Warbler, a Wood Sandpiper and a Green Sandpiper were at Kilmeaden and Spotted Redshank at Dungarvan, Co. Waterford and a Wood and a Green Sandpiper were also at Cahore, Co. Wexford.

THU 4 SEP - The Citrine Wagtail was seen again today at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford along with the White-rumped Sandpiper, 2 Pectoral and 10 Curlew Sandpipers, a Little Stint , 100 White Wagtails and a Yellow Wagtail, an Ortolan Bunting was found today on Dursey Island, Co. Cork while an Icterine Warbler was seen on Galley Head, Co. Cork, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and 2 Spotted Redshanks were at Ring Marsh, Co. Wexford while 2 Black-necked Grebes, a Whinchat and 4 Yellow Wagtails were at Lady's Island Lake and at Lough Beg in Co. Derry an Osprey continues to be seen.

FRI 5 SEP - Citrine Wagtail, White-rumped Sandpiper, 2 Spotted Redshanks and a late Swift were at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper and 4 Yellow Wagtails including a Blue-headed male, were at Lady's Island Lake, Co. Wexford, Pectoral Sandpiper, 19 Ruff and a Spotted Redshank at Lough Beg, Co. Derry, Pectoral Sandpipper found at Blennerville, Co. Kerry, Wryneck, Melodious Warbler and 4 Pied Flycatchers on Dursey Island, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and 4 Wood Sandpipers were at Lissagriffin, Pied Flycatcher and Redstart on Mizen Head and a Corncrake, 10 Pied Flycatchers and a Turtle Dove were at CCBO, all in Co. Cork.

SAT 6 SEP - Citrine Wagtail, White-rumped Sandpiper, 3 Green Sandpipers, Spotted Redshank and a Hobby were seen at Tacumshin, 1 Pectoral, 2 Wood and 6 Curlew Sandpipers, Spotted Redshank, 22 Ruff , 2 Black-necked Grebes and 4 Yellow Wagtails (including the Blue-headed male), at Lady's Island Lake, Buff-breasted Sandpiper and Pectoral Sandpiper at Cahore, all Co. Wexford, an adult Little Ringed Plover was found at Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, 120 Great Shearwaters, 2 Sabine's Gulls and 2 Grey Phalaropes off Brandon Head, Co. Kerry, a Pectoral Sandpiper and 5 Green Sandpipers were at Mallow sugar factory lagoons, Co. Cork, Pectoral Sandpiper also at White's Marsh, Co. Cork, a Great Shearwater was seen from the ferry to Tory Island in Co. Donegal and a female Ruddy Duck was seen near Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal.

SUN 7 SEP - An Albatross sp. was seen off Cape Clear Island, Co. Cork, Citrine Wagtail at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, an immature Blue-winged Teal was found at Lough Beg, Co. Derry, Little Ringed Plover still at Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, Buff-breasted Sandpipers were at Cahore, Co. Wexford and on Dursey Island, Co. Cork, 2 Great Shearwaters and 3 Pomarine Skuas were the highlights from a seawatch off Brandon Head, Co. Kerry, a Sabine's Gull was noted off Carnsore Point, Co. Wexford, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers were at the Mallow sugar factory lagoons while singles were seen at Inchydoney and at Lissagriffin, Co. Cork, a Wood Sandpiper was at Blennerville, Co. Kerry, several Curlew Sandpipers were at the Swords estuary, Co. Dublin and a Little Auk was reported off Clogher Head, Co. Louth.

MON 8 SEP - Citrine Wagtail, White-rumped Sandpiper, 3 Pectoral Sandpipers, 5 Ruff and a Marsh Harrier at Tacumshin, 2 Black-necked Grebes at Lady's Island Lake and Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Cahore, Co. Wexford, Little Ringed Plover at Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, Pectoral Sandpiper also seen at Smerwick, Co. Kerry while 10 Sooty Shearwaters and 3 Pomarine Skuas were noted off Brandon Head, a Melodious Warbler was on Dursey Island, 3 Curlew Sandpipers were at Ballycotton and Lesser Whitethroat and Pied Flycatcher at Glandore, Co. Cork, and at Church Island, Lough Beg, Co. Derry the Blue-winged Teal was still present.

TUE 9 SEP - A Baird's Sandpiper was found at Galley Cove near Crookhaven, Co. Cork, an Osprey flew over CCBO, Pectoral Sandpiper at White's Marsh, Clonakilty and Sabine's Gull at Cobh, Co. Cork, 3 Pied Flycatchers and a Tree Pipit were on the Saltees and 2 Swifts were seen at Lady's Island Lake, Co. Wexford (no news on the Citrine Wagtail today), 9 Curlew Sandpipers and 3 Brent Geese were at Swords, Co. Dublin while 60 Brent were seen coming in off the sea at Rocky Point, Co. Donegal where a Pomarine Skua was also noted.

WED 10 SEP - An influx of Nearctic waders arrived into Co. Kerry with a Semipalmated Sandpiper discovered at Blennerville, American Golden Plover at Carrahane Strand, White-rumped Sandpiper at Blackrock and a Pectoral Sandpiper was at Smerwick, a Semipalmated Sandpiper was also at Galley Cove on Mizen Head, Co. Cork while at Ballycotton 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and a Tree Pipit were noted, a Long-tailed Skua, 2 Sabine's Gulls, 15 Arctic Skuas and 5 Pomarine Skuas were seen at Brandon Head, Co. Kerry, a Sabine's Gull and a Pomarine Skua were off Galley Head, Co. Cork, a Hobby was seen on Loop Head, Co. Clare, a Pied Flycatcher was at Dirk Bay, Co. Cork and 8 Curlew Sandpipers and a Marsh Harrier were at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford.

THU 11 SEP - A Bulwer's Petrel was watched for 40 mins at Brandon Head, Co. Kerry where a Sabine's Gull, 3 Pomarine Skuas, 3 Balearic Shearwaters and a Leach's Petrel were also noted, 3 Semipalmated Sandpipers were reported from Blennerville in Co. Kerry today with 3 White-rumped Sandpipers and a juvenile blue phase Snow Goose also nearby, a Semipalmated Sandpiper was also found today at White's Marsh near Clonakilty, Co. Cork with a Pectoral Sandpiper also present, a Buff-breasted Sandpiper, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and 2 Little Stints were at Ballycotton, Co. Cork, a Semipalmated Sandpiper and a Baird's Sandpiper were still at Galley Cove on Mizen Head, Co. Cork, a Pectoral and a Wood Sandpiper were at Rahasane turlough, Co. Galway, 7 Leach's Petrels, 3 Grey Phalaropes and 20 Great Skuas were seen off the Bridges of Ross, Co. Clare, 6 Leach's Petrels, 21 Grey Phalaropes 39 Sooty Shearwaters and 29 Great Skuas were at Annagh Head, Co. Mayo, Leach's Petrel off Bloody Foreland, Co. Donegal, 2 Long-tailed Skuas were off the Copeland Islands, Co. Down along with at least 13 Pomarine Skuas and in Co. Wexford an Icterine Warbler and 3 Pied Flycatchers were on the Saltees.

FRI 12 SEP - 2 Semipalmated Sandpipers and 2 White-rumped Sandpipers were seen at Blennerville, Co. Kerry, Semipalmated Sandpipers also at Inchydoney and at Ballycotton, Co. Cork where and American Golden Plover, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and a Tree Pipit were also reported, a Buff-breasted Sandpiper was found at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford along with a Lesser Yellowlegs and a Dotterel, Pectoral Sandpiper at Blanket Nook, Co. Donegal, Pectoral Sandpiper, Wood Sandpiper and Little Stint at Rahasane, Co. Galway while a Glaucous Gull was at Nimmo's Pier in Galway City, Blue-winged Teal at Church Island, Lough Beg, Co. Derry, the Sabine's Gull was still at Cobh, Co. Cork, 11 Sooty and 1 Balearic Shearwaters off Galley Head, Co. Cork and 6 Arctic Skuas and 1 Great Skua off Gormanston, Co. Dublin.

SAT 13 SEP - A Long-billed Dowitcher and 2 Buff-breasted Sandpipers were seen at Ballycotton, Co. Cork, Lesser Yellowlegs, Buff-breasted Sandpiper and Dotterel at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, 2 juvenile Semipalmated Sandpipers were at Blennerville, Co. Kerry, while another Semipalmated Sandpiper was at White's Marsh, Inchydoney, Co. Cork, a probable Little Shearwater, 1 Great and 39 Sooty Shearwater plus 1 Pomarine and 25 Great Skuas were reported from Galley Head, Co. Cork and a juvenile Sabine's Gull flew south past Clogher Head, Co. Louth.

SUN 14 SEP - A probable Semipalmated Plover (potentially the 1st Irish record) was heard and seen briefly at Smerwick in Co. Kerry while a Wilson's Phalarope, 3 - 4 Pectoral Sandpipers and a Black Tern were also seen in the area, a juvenile Stilt Sandpiper was found at Burnham Lagoons near Dingle, Co. Kerry, the Citrine Wagtail was still at Ballycotton, Co. Cork and is considered to be a different bird to the recent individual in Co. Wexford, a Semipalmated Sandpiper was at Inchydoney, Co. Cork, Dotterel and Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, Pectoral Sandpiper also at Leam Lough, Co. Mayo, Ortolan Bunting, Red-backed Shrike, Melodious Warbler, Reed Warbler, Tree Pipit and Pied Flycatcher were all seen on Dursey Island, Co. Cork, Pied Flycatcher at Churchtown and 2 Yellow Wagtails still at Lady's Island Lake, Co. Wexford, Grey Phalarope and Ring-billed Gull on Tory Island, Co. Donegal, 115 Sooty Shearwaters off the Bridges of Ross, Co. Clare and 3 Curlew Sandpipers were at the Swords Estuary, Co. Dublin.

MON 15 SEP - Citrine Wagtail and Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Ballycotton, Co. Cork, Stilt Sandpiper at Burnham Lagoons, Long-billed Dowitcher at Smerwick and Semipalmated Sandpiper at Trawbeg, all in Co. Kerry, Lesser Yellowlegs now at Lady's Island Lake, Co. Wexford and Buff-breasted Sandpiper and Lapland Bunting at nearby Tacumshin, an American Golden Plover was found on Loop Head, Co. Clare, 3 Pectoral Sandpipers and a Ring-billed Gull were on the Mullet peninsula, Co. Mayo, Ortolan Bunting, Red-backed Shrike and Melodious Warbler on Duresy Island, Co. Cork and at least 1 Red-breasted Flycatcher and 3 Pied Flycatchers at CCBO, Co. Cork.

TUE 16 SEP - Stilt Sandpiper at Burnham, Co. Kerry, Citrine Wagtail at Ballycotton, Co. Cork, Ortolan Bunting, Red-backed Shrike, Melodious Warbler, 3-5 Pied Flycatchers, Redstart and Whinchat on Dursey Island, Co. Cork, Common Rosefinch and 1-2 Red-breasted Flycatchers on CCBO, Co. Cork, White-rumped Sandpiper at the Shannon Airport Lagoons, Co. Clare,

WED 17 SEP - Stilt Sandpiper at Burnham and Pectoral Sandpiper at Blennerville, Co. Kerry, a Spoonbill was found at Ring, near Clonakilty, Co. Cork, Common Rosefinch, Turtle Dove, 8 Pied Flycatchers and a Whinchat at CCBO, Co. Cork, Pectoral and Buff-breasted Sandpiper plus a smithsonianus Herring Gull at Ballycotton, Co. Cork, 3 Pied Flycatchers were at Hook Head, 4 Little Stints at Lady's Island Lake, Pectoral Sandpiper and Little Stint at Cahore and drake Ring-necked Duck at the North Slob, all in Co. Wexford and a Glaucous Gull, Little Stint and Curlew Sandpiper were seen on Tory Island, Co. Donegal.

THU 18 SEP - A Semipalmated Sandpiper was found at Ballyferriter, Stilt Sandpiper at Burnham, and a juvenile White-rumped Sandpiper was at Trawbeg, all Co. Kerry, American Golden Plover and Pectoral Sandpiper at Annagh Marsh, Co. Mayo, Spoonbill at Inchydoney, Co. Cork, Buff-breasted Sandpiper and Pectoral Sandpiper at Ballycotton, Co. Cork, Redstart and Pied Flycatcher at the Old Head of Kinsale, Co. Cork, Yellow-browed Warbler, Common Rosefinch and 6 Pied Flycatchers at CCBO, Co. Cork, Pectoral Sandpiper and Curlew Sandpiper at Mallow sugar factory lagoons, Co. Cork and Green Sandpiper on Tory Island, Co. Donegal.

FRI 19 SEP - Stilt Sandpiper at Burnham ,Semipalmated Sandpiper at Smerwick, and White-rumped Sandpiper at Trawbeg, Co. Kerry, an American Golden Plover was found at Swords, Co. Dublin, Spoonbill at Inchydoney, Co. Cork, 30 Pink-footed Geese, 30 Barnacle Geese and 3 Whooper Swans were seen coming in off the sea at Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal, 24 Lapland Buntings were at Rocky Point and 2 were on Tory Island, also Co. Donegal.

SAT 20 SEP - Stilt Sandpiper at Burnham, 4 Pectoral Sandpipers were at Smerwick and a White-rumped Sandpiper was at Trawbeg, Co. Kerry, American Golden Plover and 8 Curlew Sandpipers at Swords, Co. Dublin, a Long-billed Dowitcher was found at Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, single Pectoral Sandpipers were at Annagh Marsh and Cross Lough, Co. Mayo while 2 Wood Warblers were seen nearby, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers were also at Ballycotton, Co. Cork, Dotterel, Gargany and Tree Pipit at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, Pectoral Sandpiper and 2 Little Stints at Cahore, Co. wexford, a Lapland Bunting and 4 Snow Buntings were on Tory Island, Co. Donegal, 10 Pied Flycatchers, Redstart, Turtle Dove and 2 Garden Warblers at CCBO, Co. Cork, Lapland Bunting and Grey Phalarope at Rocky Point, Co. Donegal and 40 Pink-footed Geese were on the Copeland Islands, Co. Down while 12 were seen at Ramore Head, Co. Antrim.

SUN 21 SEP - A Tawny Pipit, Barred Warbler, Turtle Dove, Redstart and Pied Flycatcher were seen on Hook Head, Co. Wexford today, 2 American Golden Plovers, a Buff-breasted Sandpiper, 2 Lapland Bunting and a Sabine's Gull were on Loop Head, Co. Clare while a Wood Sandpiper and 2 Pied Flycatchers were at nearby Kilbaha, an Alpine Swift was present at CCBO, Co. Cork along with a Redstart, Turtle Dove and 7 Pied Flycatchers, adult White-winged Black Tern, 2 Black Terns and Little Stint at Sandymount, Co. Dublin, the adult American Golden Plover was still at Swords, Co. Dublin, Wryneck on Mizen Head and Spoonbill at Inchydoney, Co. Cork, Long-billed Dowitcher and Osprey at Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, an American Golden Plover was also at Carrahane, Co. Kerry while 2 Pied Flycatchers were on Tory Island, Co. Donegal, one was on Erris Head, Co. Mayo, 2 on Wicklow Head and one on Dursey Island, Co. Cork.

MON 22 SEP - 44 Leach's Petrels, 12 Grey Phalaropes and 7 Sabine's Gulls off Ramore Head, Co. Antrim, 4 Leach's, a Grey Phalarope and a Black Tern off Tory Island, 6 Leach's off Bloody Foreland, 2 Great and 1 Balearic Shearwater, 10 Leach's, 3 Grey Phalaropes, 4 Pomarine, 22 Arctic, 76 Great and 7 Long-tailed Skuas plus 2 Sabine's Gulls off Arranmore Island and 1 Leach's, 1 Long-tailed Skua and 1 Sabine's Gull off Rocky Point, all in Co. Donegal, 22 Leach's and 4 Sabine's Gulls was off Kilcummin Head, Co. Mayo, 12 Leach's Petrels were noted at Loop Head, Co. Clare, the Tawny Pipit and Barred Warbler were still on Hook Head, Co. Wexford, White-winged Black Tern at Sandymount, Co. Dublin, a new American Golden Plover was found at Carrahane Strand, Co. Kerry while the AGP at Swords, Co. Dublin was still present, the Lesser Yellowlegs was seen at Lady's island Lake, Co. Wexford and the Wryneck on Mizen Head was seen again today.

TUE 23 SEP - A Whiskered Tern was seen at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford and later at nearby Lady's Island Lake, Tawny Pipit and Barred Warbler at Hook Head, Co. Wexford, Long-billed Dowitcher and American Golden Plover at Swords, Co. Dublin, Stilt Sandpiper still at Burnham lagoons, Co. Kerry, Buff-breasted Sandpiper and 3 Grey Phalaropes at Loop Head, Co. Clare, 3 Leach's Petrels, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 7 Grey Phalaropes, 5 Pomarine, 13 Arctic and 32 Great Skuas plus a Sabine's Gull and Little Auk off Arranmore Island and 4 Leach's Petrels and 7 Arctic Skuas off Rocky Point, Co. Donegal, 3 Pectoral Sandpipers at Tacumshin and Lesser Yellowlegs and Wood Sandpiper at Lady's Island Lake in Co. Wexford, Sabine's Gull, Snow Bunting, Reed Warbler and Pied Flycatcher at Dursey Island, Co. Cork, Pied Flycatcher and Reed Warbler on the Old Head of Kinsale, Co. Cork, Lapland Bunting and Snow Bunting on Tory Island, Co. Donegal and 5 Pink-footed Geese were at Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow.

WED 24 SEP - American Golden Plover at Swords, Co. Dublin, Turtle Dove at Hook Head, Co. Wexford but no sign of the Tawny Pipit or Barred Warbler there, a single Leach's Petrel was seen off Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal, Ring-billed and Glaucous Gull on Tory Island, Co. Donegal, single Pied Flycatchers at Carnsore Point, Co. Wexford and on Erris Head, Co. Mayo, Marsh Harrier at Tacumshin and Black-necked Grebe at nearby Lady's Island Lake, Co. Wexford.

THU 25 SEP - American Golden Plover found at Blackrock Strand in Co. Kerry, Stilt Sandpiper at Burnham Lagoons and 2 Little Stints at Smerwick, also Co. Kerry, American Golden Plover still at Swords, Co. Dublin, 4 Grey Phalaropes and 1 Pomarine Skua off Rocky Point, Co. Donegal, a Common Rosefinch and 2 Yellow Wagtails were at CCBO, Co. Cork, Whinchat and 3 Reed Warblers on the Old Head of Kinsale and 2 Little Stints and a Green Sandpiper at Ballycotton, Co. Cork, 2 Jack Snipe were seen on Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal and 2 Ring-billed Gulls and 2 Little Stints were at Sandymount, Co. Dublin.

FRI 26 SEP - Whiskered Tern at Bunduff Lough, Co. Sligo, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, Icterine Warbler, Wryneck, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 3 Firecrests, an Ortolan Bunting and 2 Redstarts on Dursey Island, Co. Cork, Yellow-browed Warbler, Firecrest and Redstart at CCBO, Co. Cork, Redstart at Churchtown, Co. Wexford, 2 Wrynecks on Mizen Head and one on Toe Head, Co. Cork, Turtle Dove, Pied Flycatcher and Buff-breasted Sandpiper on Loop Head, Co. Clare and Turtle Dove at Kilkeel, Co. Antrim, 2 American Golden Plovers at Blackrock, Co. Kerry and one at Swords, Co. Dublin, Lesser Yellowlegs at Rahasane, Co. Galway, a Buff-breasted and 2 Pectoral Sandpipers at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford along with a Yellow-legged Gull, 2 Sabine's Gulls at Ramore Head, Co. Antrim, adult Sabine's Gull, 8 Pomarine, 7 Arctic and 14 Great Skuas off Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal and 2 Grey Phalaropes and 2 Lapland Buntings at Rocky Point, Co. Donegal.

SAT 27 SEP - A Booted Warbler was discovered on Tory Island, Co. Donegal (1st Irish record) where a Yellow-browed Warbler was also present, Yellow-browed Warbler, 2 Pied Flycatchers and Yellow Wagtail at Rocky Point, Co. Donegal, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a Wood Warbler on the Mullet peninsula, Co. Mayo, Common Rosefinch at Firkeel, Co. Cork, 2 Wrynecks and 2 Redstarts on Mizen Head, Co. Cork, Common Rosefinch, Lesser Whitethroat, Wood Warbler and Turtle Dove at CCBO, Co. Cork, Lesser Yellowlegs at Rahasane, Co. Galway and Ring Marsh, Co. Wexford, Forster's Tern at St. Margaret's near Lady's Island Lake, Buff-breasted Sandpiper and Lapland Bunting at Tacumshin and White-rumped Sandpiper at Lady's Island Lake, Co. Wexford, American Golden Plover on Loop Head and Pectoral Sandpiper at Moyasta, Co. Clare.

SUN 28 SEP - Arctic Warbler found near Bloody Foreland, Co. Donegal (7th Irish record), Barred Warbler on Tory Island, Co. Donegal but no sign of the Booted Warbler today, Barred Warbler on Hook Head, Co. Wexford, Ortolan Buntings on Dursey Island and at CCBO, Co. Cork, 5 Common Rosefinches and a Wood Warbler at Seafield on the Mullet peninsula, Co. Mayo, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a Wryneck on Mizen Head, Co. Cork with a Spoonbill at nearby Lissagriffin, Lesser Yellowlegs at Rahasane, Co. Galway and Ring Marsh, Co. Wexford.

MON 29 SEP - Arctic Warbler still at Bloody Foreland, Co. Donegal and Pied Flycatcher nearby, Greenland (rostrata) Redpoll on Tory Island, Common Rosefinch at Seafield on the Mullet peninsula, Co. Mayo and a small race Canada Goose at the south end of the peninsula, Ortolan Bunting and Wryneck on Dursey Island, Co. Cork and Lesser Yellowlegs was reported again from Rahasane, Co. Galway.

TUE 30 SEP - The Arctic Warbler was still present near Bloody Foreland, Co. Donegal, a Greenland (rostrata) Redpoll was at Glencolmkille and a Lapland Bunting at nearby Rocky Point, Lapland Bunting also on Tory Island, Ortolan Bunting, Wryneck and Firecrest at CCBO, Co. Cork and another Wryneck was found near Clonakilty, Co. Cork.
