While not busy being married, Paul is a scriptwriter with 'Fair City' and has written various radio plays too few to mention. His stage plays include 'Cloudy Christmas'(a performance play for children) 'Tabloid Man' and 'Costa Lads' both of which he performed in. Other acting work included Tom in 'Baggage'(Black Box) ,Crawley in 'Frugal Comforts'(Andrews Lane), and Flanagan in 'The Field' (Punchbag), 'Vampiella and The Company of Wolves (Glasshouse), Captain Brennan in Peter Sheridan's production of 'The Plough and the Stars', Cuchulainn in 'The Tain' (Comotion),'Slice of Saturday Night' (Andrews Lane).

Film and T.V. work includes, 'Solomans Song',' Making Ends Meet', 'Ireland 1847, 'Rebel Heart' 'Glenroe', 'Mystic Nights', and 'Fair City'.
