Deer did not always roam at Blenheim House. They were acquired as pets and have since multiplied to a herd. They have no commercial function and spend their days lying in the park enjoying a quiet life. They are particularly attractive in summertime when they don their "Bambi" coats. They are quite tame and curious enough to come up to investigate spectators at the fence.

Always drive on the left
When planning your journey remember that travelling in Ireland may take a little longer than you are used to so allow time to stop and visit places of interest.
