NAVIGATION TRAINING.

 There's an old saying

" ANYONE CAN GO OUT TO SEA! GETTING BACK IS THE PROBLEM "

Some basic training is very essential, the training you require depends on "Where you want to go, and how you do it". The innocent trip out of the harbour can turn to disaster if the weather turns bad and you can't get back. This can be avoided with some NAVIGATION training, we have the course for you! Two types of courses are available.

PILOTAGE, this is for short day excursions, well within the sight of land, by day, and in good settled weather.

NAVIGATION is for longer trips around the coast, by day or night, and for offshore cruises when you are likely to be out of the sight of land.

These courses which are theory only can be considered in three categories: -

PILOTAGE. 2.DAYS. or 6 NIGHT CLASSES.

COASTAL SKIPPER. 4.DAYS. or 12 NIGHT CLASSES.

OFFSHORE SKIPPER. 6.DAYS. or 24 NIGHT CLASSES.

NAVIGATION COURSES are Department of Transport / Irish Sailing Association Yachtmaster courses. Day and night courses are generally arranged to suit the participant's time available.

PRIVATE or INDIVIDUAL TRAINING is available on request.

Participants attending our courses are assured of the highest quality of training, using a modern approach and uniquely designed training aids, we can assure you that not only will you learn, but will achieve your aim whilst enjoying every moment of training.
