Meet The Members!

President: Fr. Tom Aherne cc: Curate of Murroe and Boher Parish.

Chairperson: Donal Humphreys. Well he is always up to something whether it is running away to go on a holiday or not.

Secretary: Maria O'Connell: Joined the club with her friend and neighbour, Catherine Leahy last year. Won the County final of Miss Macra and will represent Limerick in Thurles on the August holiday weekend.

Treasurer: Ronan Hickey: Joined last year. Big into soccer. Had a great time in a boarding school racing snails.

PROs: James Marnane. is a computer buff and web master. He is glad to see other Macra web sites popping up. Likes going on Macra holiday trips. He is going out with a girl who is a member of Croom Macra club.

Marie Laffan: Made a big impact in this club since she joined 5 years ago. Interested in computers as she uses them at work in Shannon. Big into cards (45).

Delegates for County Meetings: 

Alan Ryan: Assistant Treasurer. He is from around Boher. He is an articulated truck driver.

Michael Marnane. Well a politician in a sort, he is very interested in politics and seems to have his own policies in the Macra organization.

Majella Laffan: Assistant Secretary, Twin sister to Marie she is a lot taller than Marie. Enjoys a relationship with a Killmallock fella.

Seamus Laffan: Younger brother of Marie and Majella. Likes playing soccer.

Richard Laffan: Cousin and friend of Seamus, plays hurling for his local GAA club.

Pat Laffan: Older Brother to Marie, Majella and Seamus, he was the first member of his family to join the club in 1990.

Paudie Leahy is a trucker and a mechanic by trade.   He slags like a trucker.

Tom Leahy: Older Brother to Paudie and a veteran to this club.  He is handy in the tongue. Likes foreign cultural exchanges and big into the Macra Development Education programme.

Pat Coll is with us a few years now. He was club PRO a few years ago. He seems to come in with only a t-shirt on a cold winter's night.

Johnny Mc Namara: One of the funniest members in the club, he is the biggest messer around. He is big into sports particularly Hurling, Soccer and Squash. Brother to Jude Ryan who got married last year.

Catherine Holmes: Joined over a year ago, she has some input to the club. She has short curly black hair and wears glasses. She is assistant secretary of the club.

Mike Holmes: Brother to Catherine, he joined a few years ago.  He is a DIY mechanic.

Margaret Mullins:  Had some great input  to the club.  She represented Kilteely in the Miss Macra Contest A few years ago.  She usually goes on two foreign holidays a year.

 Tomas Laffan. Joined last October, youngest brother to Pat Laffan.

Catherine Leahy,  Another new member, Doesn't like being photographed but she would photograph all around her given a half a chance.

John Leahy, Brother to Catherine, He is from the Murroe area. Joined a few months ago.

Lawernce Leahy, Another brother of Cathreine. He joined last October on the new members night.

Mike Fogarty:  Joined recently, He says that he would break a camera.  From Caherline he drives a '92 sports car.

Sean Quirke: With us for a few years. Friend of Seamus and Richard Laffan.

Josephine Slattery: Joined last Summer. Friend to Marie and Majella Laffan.
