As Rms Titanic was too large for any dock in Queenstown (Cobh), she anchored outside the harbour, and the passengers were ferried by tender from the White Star Line dock. The painting and print shows Rms Titanic at about 2pm on April 11, 1912. My brief regarding the painting was that it was to be entitled 'The Last Port of Call' and oriented to Queenstown (size 65 inches x 38inches.....
detail crop).
