The Fleadh committee also caters for the artistic side and
is involved with the local schools in running an art competition
and they also provide opportunities for story tellers to come
and share their pearls of wisdom!!
This weekend is for everybody; those blessed with talent and
ability to play an instrument or sing and those who have an
appreciation of traditional Irish music in its purest form.
People of all ages come to share their talent with the folk
of Abbeyfeale and in return the town guarantees you a warm West
Limerick welcome.
| Fleadh by the Feale Committee
The voluntary committee is made up of local people who
work particularly hard to make this Fleadh possible and
they recognise the importance of local involvement and
are grateful for any support they receive from within
the community, local businesses and sponsors.
The Fleadh by the Feale is a recognised event on the
national festivals programme and is a time for celebration
of our traditions in music, song, dance, art and storytelling.
So if you have no plan for the May Bank Holiday weekend
then you are welcome to come to Abbeyfeale, where a warm
musical welcome awaits you. |

Town Park
Abbeyfeale Town Park was developed on the banks of the river
Feale. The park has pleasurable meandering walkways adjacent
to the river, which also takes in the idyllic views of the
surrounding countryside. Also included on the park is a playground
to entertain our younger visitors.
