Notes to accompany ranking list

1. We have been offered expect 10 places.
2. Ranking is is based on the Low Points System
3. Best two scores from East Coasts. Nationals and South Coasts to count
4. In the event of a tie the helmsman with the best overall result in either counting regatta wins (e.g. a helm with a 6 and a 10 beats one with two 8s)
5. If this does not break the tie (e.g. both helms are counting a fourth and a sixth) then we look at the individual race results, starting with the best regatta (the fourth). RRS Appendix A8 shall apply:Ñ A8 SERIES TIES
A8.1 If there is a series score tie between two or more boats, each boat's race scores shall be listed in order of best to worst, and at the first point(s) where there is a difference the tie shall be broken in favour of the boat(s) with the best score(s). No excluded scores shall be used.

A8.2 If a tie still remains between two or more boats, they shall be ranked in order of their scores in the last race. Any remaining ties shall be broken by using the tied boats' scores in the next-to-last race and so on until all ties are broken. These scores shall be used even if some of them are excluded scores.

6. The decision of the Officers of the Irish Dragon Association shall be final.
