Club Racing
An active season on the club front is already underway in Dublin Bay. Racing is in the main organised by Dublin Bay Sailing Club (DBSC)and the Royal Alfred Yacht Club (RAYC)with full Olympic type courses on Saturdays and "round the cans" on Thursday nights. There are a total of five series of races during the season with prizes awarded by DBSC, RAYC and the class itself.
In addition there are four regatta days hosted by the waterfront yacht clubs (R.St.G.Y.C, R.I.Y.C., N.Y.C & D.M.Y.C.) These regatta days along with other selected race days count for the Royal Alfreds "Superleague".
Typically turnout is in the region of 15 dragons so tough competition is always the norm.
